If you are joining a special interest tour, river cruise, or you are a member of one of the groups for whom we have made travel arrangements, we urge you to consider personal travel insurance. If you are travelling in the UK, we strongly advise that you have a suitable policy that offers protection from cancellation charges and other losses in pre-scribed circumstances. If you are travelling overseas, it is a condition of travel that you have a suitable policy that additionally covers emergency medical care and repatriation should you be taken ill whilst you are away.

Of course you are free to make your own arrangements and if you already have an annual policy, you should check that it covers the holiday duration and destinations that you intend to visit. We cannot review the adequacy of your policy or give advice.

However, we are happy to introduce you to the following insurance that has been arranged for us by Global Travel Insurance Services Ltd and which is underwritten by AXA Insurance UK plc. This insurance has been specifically designed so that it covers all of the holidays that we feature, protecting you if you have to cancel and providing you with the very best and most effective protection if you are unfortunate enough to require medical attention whilst away from home. Don’t take unnecessary risks by insuring your holiday anywhere else as we cannot accept any responsibility or provide assistance if problems arise as a result of inadequate cover. A feature of this policy is that premiums do not increase according to age and you can apply for cover right up to the age of 90. However, excesses (the initial amount which is not covered by claims under the various sections) do go up for travellers of senior years.

We act as an Introducer Appointed Representative for the purposes of your travel insurance, appointed by Global Travel Insurances Services Ltd who are authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority.
